History of Barez Tire: Barez Industrial Group (formerly Kerman Rubber Industries Complex) was opened in April 1993 and chose the brand name "Barez" for its products. The first commercial activity of Barez Industrial Group started in 1994. The initial annual capacity was 25,000 tons of tires, tubes and strips of light and heavy vehicles, as well as agricultural tires. This capacity was realized two years after the start of production. The tires produced by this prominent industrial group have entered the market under the brand name "Barez" and it did not take long for Barez to be welcomed by Iranian consumers, especially in the heavy transport sector.
The share of Barez Industrial Group in the production of agricultural products also gradually increased to the point that after 5 years, it exceeded 50,000 rings per year. At present, Barez Industrial Group has more than 70% of the share of the Iranian agricultural tire market by producing more than 100,000 tires of various types of agricultural tires (tractors). The company has established close cooperation with Iranian agricultural equipment manufacturers, including Tabriz Tractor Manufacturing, and intends to meet the growing needs of this growing company in providing all kinds of agricultural tires in a complete and long-term manner.
Another obvious strategy has been strategic cooperation with other Iranian automakers, including Iran Khodro and Saipa (two major passenger car manufacturers in Iran). Therefore, in this regard, Barez Industrial Group has constructed two factories for the production of radial passenger tires with a capacity of 5 million rings per year, various types of radial passenger tires (Tubeless), which now have a significant share in meeting the needs of these two automakers and other automakers. The next goal of this industrial group is to increase the production capacity of radial tires to 10 million tires per year. With the establishment of Barez Kurdistan factory in 1392 and the implementation of capacity development projects in Barez, Kerman, this group has started to move towards this goal.
Barez Industrial Group, by concluding a long-term technical cooperation agreement with Continental Germany, the fourth largest tire manufacturing company in the world, decided to produce and supply radial freight and bus wires for the first time in Iran. The project of constructing a unit with a capacity of 1100 units per day and an annual capacity of more than 400 thousand units, has been on the agenda since 2003, the first phase of which was put into operation this year, ie 2006. With the introduction of these products, which are produced in Iran with modern European machinery and technology, Barez Industrial Group will take a big step forward. Also, in recent years, the company has started the second phase of its development in this field, and in addition to providing new tires, it intends to double the production capacity of its all-wire cargo and bus radial tires and reach the production of 400,000 tires per year..
