Isfahan Steel is the first and largest manufacturer of construction steel and rails in Iran and the largest producer of long products in the Middle East, with a capacity of 3 million and 600 thousand tons of steel, produces a variety of construction and industrial steel sections. Isfahan Steel Factory was put into operation in 1350. This factory, which is located in the southwest of Isfahan province, played an important role in the formation of other Iranian steel industries and therefore, is the mother of the country's steel industry.
